La Spezia - Cinque
Terre
Riomaggiore
Tanya and Karen's
favourite wine!!!
Reviews on - "Brown
Brothers Tarrango"
"Karen had
been here a few days already so she booked us a great restuarant
near the water
I had pesto of course - Cinque Terre is where pesto originated
Dinner was great and Karen had brought our favourite wine -
Brown Brothers Tarrango
all the way from London so we shared the bottle down by the water
front
Then we went to the bar for a few drinks and then it was goodbye
- again!!
We thought Barcelona was it but we managed another one
- this one was a lot less emotional too!!"
A delicious light red wine with
cherry flavour, from Australia's newest grape
Serve chilled for the perfect summer wine
#
Tarrango is a unique Australian grape variety developed to produce
a fresh,
light bodied fruity red wine for early drinking
Could be compared with the lighter styles of Beaujolais or Valpolicella
but with a richer concentration of fruit
Should be served slightly chilled
Screwcap closure
#
A delicate, light-bodied red wine that should be served lightly
chilled (strange but true)
The wine is a bright crimson colour with fresh, aromas of ripe
cherries and a hint of spice
These fresh, vibrant aromas are echoed on the palate, with a juicy
clean mouthfeel,
along with fine, well integrated tannins and a fresh dry finish
Lightly chilled, it makes the perfect wine to sip on, either as
an aperitif
or to accompany a relaxing al fresco lunch
To truly appreciate this light, fresh, flavoursome red wine
it should be enjoyed within two years of vintage
#
Tasting Note
Pale cherry red wine with a youthful exhuberance
Delicate flavours of ripe cherry, raspberry and redcurrant fruits
with a hint of spice
Soft mellow tannin structure make it an ideal aperitif wine
or for enjoyment with lighter meat dishes, poultry etc
