"NORDIC EXPRESS"

This is your chance to join in the inaugural Nordic Express Tour
This party tour will incorporate two of the finest Nordic cities:-
Oslo, the capital of Norway, and
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark
On top of this you have the bonus of spending one amazing night
on board a luxury Nordic booze cruise!

DAY 1 - Friday, October 15
Meet with Tim The Tourman at Stansted Airport for our 18:45 flight to Oslo Torp.

After touchdown we will transfer to our hostel in the centre of Oslo before heading out with the 'beautiful people' to sample some of Oslo's famous nightlife.

DAY 2 - Saturday, October 16
This morning we will embark on a walking tour of this beautiful city.

Situated at the top of a 100km long fjord, surrounded by forests, and populated by more than 500,000 of Hagar's descendants, Oslo is Norway's cultural hub and an all-you-can-see smorgasbord of historic sights, trees, art and Nordic fun.

In the space of several hours you will have the chance to see ancient Viking ships, an open-air folk museum, an Olympic ski jump, an incredible sculpture park and the hall where the Nobel Peace Prize is annually presented.

After this we will make our way to the harbour to board the Crown Of Scandinavia cruise ship for our 5pm sailing.
This is where the party really begins.
On board are 3 gourmet restaurants, a sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, duty free shopping, cinema, bar and nightclub.
This boat trip is a Nordic phenomenon and by morning you will know why.

DAY 3 - Sunday, October 17
The Crown Of Scandinavia docks in Copenhagen at 9:00 when we will disembark and transfer to the city centre.

Copenhagen is the least expensive and most fun-loving Scandinavian city.

We will spend the day cruising the canals, walking the old town, strolling the Stroget (Europe's greatest pedestrian shopping mall) and toying in the Tivoli (the grand old amusement park).
You may even wish to visit Christiana, an abandoned military barracks which is now a haven for hippies, free love and a smooth smoke.

In the evening we will transfer to the airport for our flight which arrives back in London at 22:25 - a Nordic Express weekend indeed!

Oslo - The Vigeland Park
Norway's most visited attraction with over 1 million visitors every year
Appr. 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943),
who also designed the lay-out of the park
A monumental artistic creation with a human message that is well worth seeing

Copenhagen - Stroget
Your shopping tour starts here!
Stroget runs right through the heart of Copenhagen
from Kgs. Nytorv to Radhuspladsen
and along its length, the dopplered sound of street performers fill the air
The stretch closest to Radhuspladsen is mainly dedicated to young fashion
and further along, several of the major fashion chains like H&M and Esprit
as well as Company’s (Danish In Wear and Matinique) have their flagship stores
Although you may be familiar with what they have to offer,
they're worth a visit purely for the decor and their wide selections

Copenhagen - The Tivoli Gardens
No trip to Copenhagen would be complete without a visit to Tivoli
Right in the middle of town, Tivoli offers both the fun of the fair,
the peace and tranquillity of a park
and the ambience of the many open air cafes, restaurants and bars
