Musee d'Orsay
"We had lunch at a little café and then headed to the metro station to go to the Musee D’Orsay
There was heaps of Monet in there and I loved it
It was also a beautiful museum
It was an old train station and I got some good photos of that too
I also had a look at some Van Gogh but I don’t like his stuff as much
Saw a gorgeous Renoir too"

(two photos)--- The walls

Paintings by Monet ------

and by Renoir --and a self-portrait by Da Vinci

The Louvre
"Then we went into the Louvre
We were down inside the pyramid and I took a photo up and out
It turned out pretty cool
We saw the Venus De Milo and of course the Mona Lisa - that was pretty cool"

Venus De Milo, and Tanya with the statue (two photos)-- The Mona Lisa

L'arc De Triomphe
"We drove by the Arc De Triomphe
It is apparently the most dangerous roundabout in the world and I know why
I reckon the cars were actually touching us and each other on the way round
It was bizarre"

(two photos)--- The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Napoleon's statue on the side of L'arc, and Tanya in front of the statue

Avenue Des Champs Elysees
"We then walked down the Avenue De Champs Elysees
It is full of lots of way-too-expensive shops including flash vehicle showrooms
We stood in the middle of the road and we were able to take photos in each direction
from back up to the Arc De Triomphe and down through Place De La Concorde to the Louvre"
