Ramsses II ruled 67 years, and died at the age of 92 years
In 1976 the mummy was flown to Paris where the great Ramsses II exhibition was made
The trip was also to receive treatment because parts of the mummy started to decay
It was X-rayed,
and the nose was found to have maintained its shape because it was filled with peppercorn
In France he was treated as a visiting royality, although he had been dead for 3200 years
In Paris Airport he was received by a full Presidential Guard of Honour
