It was quite interesting but there were far too many battles and King James etc to keep track off.
The Dog Cemetery (two photos)I did find though a cute little dog cemetery where the soldiers dogs were buried - it was sweet.
Side street and Scot MonumentAfter wandering around there and getting lots
of photos I wondered around the shops a bit.
It was looking for a Nessie for my desk collection.
The ice rinkI went down the hill to Princes Street where
there were Christmas Markets and they were preparing for Hogmanay.
There was an ice ring and Ferris wheel.
"The coolest hat in the history of hats"I bought the coolest hat in the history of
hats - I love it and everyone comments on it - just wait till
you see it!!
I went back to the hostel and a few of the girls were snoozing
after a long day walking.
I organised to go out for dinner with Nikki because neither of
us particularly wanted to do the 'Ghost Walk' that some people
were doing - too cold and rainy and windy.
We had an early dinner and hung around in the hostel for the night.
