A group of us met for breakfast and by the time we got organised it was about 10.30am and we headed to the Castle.
I paid my money and brought my audio guide and went in.
It was quite interesting but there were far too many battles and King James etc to keep track off.
I did find though a cute little dog cemetery where the soldiers dogs were buried - it was sweet.
After wandering around there and getting lots
of photos I wondered around the shops a bit.
It was looking for a Nessie for my desk collection.
I went down the hill to Princes Street where
there were Christmas Markets and they were preparing for Hogmanay.
There was an ice ring and Ferris wheel.
I bought the coolest hat in the history of
hats - I love it and everyone comments on it - just wait till
you see it!!
I went back to the hostel and a few of the girls were snoozing
after a long day walking.
I organised to go out for dinner with Nikki because neither of
us particularly wanted to do the 'Ghost Walk' that some people
were doing - too cold and rainy and windy.
We had an early dinner and hung around in the hostel for the night.
