Kylie will play her biggest ever tour next year
to follow the release of her first comprehensive greatest hits package 'Ultimate Kylie',
which is released this year on Monday 22nd November

Kylie is now revisiting her back catalogue, spanning the last 17 years,
and creating a running order for the show which, as usual,
will feature a host of musical and visual surprises

Most of all though, this will be a celebratory-hits-based show featuring what is,
by common consent, some of the best pop music created over the last three decades

Kylie says - "I'm so excited to tour again
It really is the most amazing, challenging and rewarding part of my career
and to have the greatest hits to celebrate is going to make it so much fun
It's the ultimate place to connect with my fans
to share two hours of music and memories!
This will be the culmination of everything I've done so far,

Kylie's '40 cm waist' stretches the truth

It's a squeeze - but not a 40cm one for Kylie

Kylie Minogue has laughed off suggestions that the corset she wears for her
Showgirl tour has given her a 40cm waist
The Aussie singer is currently squeezing into a series of eye-popping outfits
for her lavish stage show - and a swag of newspapers fell for the notion
one corset shrunk her waist to just 40cms
But today she said: "A 40 cm waist? Wow, even I would be amazed by that
Of course that is an exaggeration"
However, the 36-year-old is keeping her real dimensions a closely guarded secret
"A showgirl shouldn't reveal her actual measurements," she joked
A spokesman for the star said - "We do not want anyone to think Kylie is promoting
any form of extreme weight management or control
She does not have a 40 cm waist"
The pint-sized singer kicked off her tour at the weekend in Glasgow
Designers Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Julien McDonald
and corset-maker Mr Pearl have created her costumes
Mr Pearl has trained his own waist to a tiny 45cm
as a result of wearing his corsets day and night
The $14 million stage show is inspired by showgirls from the Moulin Rouge to Las Vegas
The world-famous Lido in Paris has supplied the feathered head-dresses
- so big that they need a truck of their own to transport them between venues
After 23 British dates the tour will move to Europe, Australia and the Far East
and will end with a headline appearance at the Glastonbury Festival on June 26
